Counseling

My primary focus is anxiety, depression, grief, marriage and premarital issues. I utilize Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Solution Focused Approach, all effective methods when chronic stress, anxiety, depression and even physical pain becomes overwhelming. As a therapist, it is my goal to help clients navigate towards positive growth in a safe, healing environment. I help my clients focus on the underlying cause of what is making them feel “stuck” and unhappy. Then, I teach them the tools they need to move forward by implementing healthy living, emotional support and guidance.

I also introduce deep breathing, guided imagery and meditation techniques that are mostly influenced by yoga. Over time, I help my clients learn how to resolve their struggles and focus their energy on what makes them happy. I understand this is a tough step in healing, which is why I offer a safe environment and compassionate listening.
